Pack meeting?? Do you have a calling in the boy scouts or
something? And Chad got married? i didn't even know that he finished his
mission, but i guess it makes sense.
This week was a pretty good
week. Just about everything was normal, until Sunday. One of our
eternal investigators said that she wants to be baptized. That kind of
took us by surprise. We are going to see how everything works out because
there are a lot of complications that need to be resolved. Then latter in
the day we went to the house of a new investigator that was a reference of another
dupla of missionaries. It was pretty cool. He tried to convert us
to a church i have never heard of that doesn't believe in saying
"Bible" but only says "the Holy Scriptures" or "the
Holy Books of Scripture" and a bunch of other things like
that. It is always fun when you find these people
Anyway, those were the highlights of this week. I don't
know if I will email you next week or if I will just see you on Wednesday.
But I love you and will talk to you soon.

It sounds like things are finally
winding down and you are getting ready for summer. I am probably one of
the luckiest missionaries in the world because I will return home right at the
beginning of summer, so I won't have a huge shock with winter cold...hopefully
No. they do not have Memorial Day
here. And the member with the turtles had them as pets. What do you
mean by food source?? I am confused, how would a turtle be a food source?
People eat normal food here, pizza, chicken, lots of soda, rice, beans, only
normal stuff. The weirdest thing that I ate on the mission wasn't even
that weird. It was a goose egg when I was in Esplanada. Other than
that, only normal food. We don't have dinner at members houses, only
lunch because that is the main meal of the day. And just about nobody has
AC here, it is really expensive and people here in general are kinda poor.
But almost everyone has concrete walls around their houses with an
electric fence on top. If you don't have this, you are probably going to
be robbed. I will take some pictures of our house to show you when I get
home. I do have more pictures I want to send you but I forgot my camera
cord today so I will send them next week. Next week will be my last email
home!! weird. It still doesn't feel like the end is coming. It
still feels like I should have about 4 or 5 more months. I don't think I
will really realize that I am going home until I actually get home. I am
excited to see everyone again and have more time to sleep :)
I will send a couple of pictures
next week with my last email.
I love you lots!

Hello,
It so it sounds like you had a good
week this week. Everything was pretty normal here. We are getting a
bunch of new people to teach so that when I leave there is a good teaching
pool. When I arrived in this area there were not a whole lot of people.
Wow, everyone is getting home or getting married! It is going to be very
different when I get home I think. Yeah, I did hear that Sister Monson
had died this week. I heard about it on Saturday.
Thanks for sending the flight info
to me. It was very disorganized and I couldn't find the times for
anything. Cool, so I am going to pass in Fortaleza! Too bad I don't
really have time to go anywhere cool. But at least I can say that I have
been there. It would have been cool to go to the temple there. That
is the closest temple to Teresina and it where everyone goes on their temple
trips. Maybe one day when I return to Brasil I will have the chance to go
there.
Anyway, I hope you liked the
pictures. I love you

Pictures:
1. We had lunch at a member's
house that has a bunch of turtles in their yard. It was cool so we took a
picture.
2. Me with Sister Ramos on the
way to lunch one day. There is a school that has wall decorated like
this. I will send a picture of the wall too.

So, I don't have much to say because
I said it all to you on Saturday :) I liked the pictures of Japan,
especially the one of Ryu and Dan. It is a very dad-type picture.
It looks like they are having a lot of fun. How long is Janae going
to stay out there?
Like I said when you guys called,
everything is winding down here. I am starting to go through all my stuff
to get rid of it all. Holy cow, I don't know how I have so much stuff, just
a ton of things that I never use and never will use. It is kind of sad,
but nice at the same time. My poor companion, she is brand new and super
trunky. But I try never to talk about anything about home in front of
her. I think it is just the consciousness of knowing. But she will
get used to it...hopefully.
Well, I hope you have a great week.
I love you.

May 6th 2013
This week was an exciting week.
I only got to work in my area for 3 days. One day i was n a trio with the
other sisters, the next day I went to pick up my new companion and meet her for
the first time, then the next day we spend our entire day at the federal
police. Don't worry I didn't do anything wrong, I was (finally) renewing
my visa.
So, my new companion's name is
Sister Ramos. She is from Santa Cruz, Bolivia. She speaks a lot of
Spanish and some Portuguese. She is pretty cool. Tyler says i should
learn Spanish. I don't think that would work out with only 5 weeks to
learn a language. She is a little brainless sometimes. We had to
explain to her lots of simple things lots of times before she understands, and
I know that it isn't the language barrier, because she already speaks pretty
good Portuguese. But, it will be good with her. I don't think it is
very fair for her to send her very first companion home. I never talk
about home or how I am going home or anything, but she is already super trunky.
Just knowing is enough I guess.
I loved the pictures with Grace and
Jake. Gracie is so big! It's weird... but anyways, I will talk to you on Saturday
I guess.
I love you
