Woo Hoo! Congratulations on your half classroom!  I bet that it is a hundred times better than what you had before.  Also this is a wonderful opportunity for you to take all your therapy stuff out of my room and put it in your new classroom!

Well, this week was a very exciting week.  We had my first zone conference on Friday. It was...interesting.  My zone is my district of 4 companionships and the district in Tinagua of 2 companionships.  It is really small but I finally got to meet the elders from Tinagua.

This week we also found a lot of less active members that no one really knew existed.  We were at the house of a recent convert/ less active one night when a friend of his came over to talk.  It turned out that he was a member too and hasn’t been to church for 3 years. We shared a scripture with both of them and invited them to return to church again.  We didn’t do anything very special but the Spirit was very strong.  It is amazing the strength you can get just by opening the scriptures.

We are also teaching Junior.  He is about 30ish and is very excited about the gospel!  Every lesson with him is amazing.  The other day we asked him if he wanted to be baptized and he accepted!! It was great!  And it would be perfect if he would actually go to church.  That is the problem here.  EVERYONE loves to talk about Jesus and talk about the Bible and everything, but never do anything about it.  It is very sad because we know that our message will help them and we tell them flat out that it will help them but they don’t do anything.  But it is still really cool that he wants to be baptized.

I am emailing a little late today because we had a district activity.... we went on a hike!! It was really steep and long, but it was a lot of fun.  We brought things to have lunch at the top.  Wow! That mountain was high.  It was nice and cool at the top too which is always a good thing.   We are trying to get our zone leaders to let us do an activity together as a zone, but I don’t know if it will work out.  Today was a great start to the week!
